Induction for EYFS
Here at St Barnabas and St Paul's, we pride ourselves on our successful induction plan for our new children and families. Our aim is to ensure that both you and your child feel part of our school family long before September. We know that starting school can be a nervous time for our families but we want to ease your worries and make it an exciting time!
This year has been an unusual year and we have not been able to follow our normal induction plan. However, we are committed to ensuring that you and your child get to know us and that we get to know you therefore ensuring that your child's first steps into school are as smooth, settled and happy as they can possibly be.
It has meant that we have had to think of alternative ways for you to get to know us. You should have already have had a telephone call from school to confirm and accept your place with us. We have also been in touch with pre-school settings and have been finding out all about our new children from their Key Workers. We thought it was important that the next step was to introduce ourselves and give you a virtual tour of our EYFS space. Below you will find videos from our EYFS staff along with a virtual tour which gives you a taster of all the exciting things you will be doing at St Barnabas and St Paul's!
Please continue to regularly check your emails and this webpage for more updates as we will be holding some special virtual events and meetings just for our new EYFS children and their families.
We can't wait to welcome you to our school very soon! Take care and stay safe!
