You Said, We Did!

We take the views of parents very seriously at St Barnabas and St Paul's and we encourage discussion about ways in which we further improve our school.

We gather feedback from parents during regular workshops, coffee mornings, surveys and at parents' evening.

Please see below as to how we have actioned some of your really useful suggestions.

You Said:

'Please upload the homework template on to the school website and on class dojo so that we can access links'.

What we Did:

Homework templates for all year groups are accessible on the school website (class page) and have been sent via class dojo. yes

You Said:

'It would be good if breakfast club started earlier'.

What we Did:

We changed the opening hours to start 15 minutes earlier at 7.45am.

You Said:

'I would like to be added to Class Dojo'.

What we Did:

We have fully utilised all that Class Dojo has to offer and all our school community can now contact each other and have access.

You Said:

'I would like to attend more reading workshops so that I can help my child learn to read.'

What we Did:

Mrs Cowell held an additional reading strategies workshop, specific to early reading and phonics.

You Said:

'My child would like to be able to change their library book more often.'

What we Did:

In addition to every class visiting the library each week, the library is now open for one hour every lunchtime and two evenings after school. Parents can join their child after school to read a book and choose a new one to take home.
