Earth Day was a very exciting day at St Barnabas and St Paul's. The children were invited to wear blue or green (Earth colours) and were asked to donate £1 to the charity keepbritaintidy.org
The children have raised £168! Which is a fantastic achievement.
EYFS spent time looking at why it is important to plant trees and even planted a tree in the EYFS garden!
Year 2 spent time tidying areas of the school.
Year 3 spent the afternoon learning about Carbon footprints and how they could help reduce the energy they use.
Year 4 carried out an exciting oil spill experiment.
Year 5 recorded presentations about plastic pollution and how we can save our oceans.
